Light Painting.Light Painting is a photographic technique when exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source/strobe light or by moving the camera. Light painting can be traced back into the 1914 when a man&his wife used a open shutter and small lights to track the motion of manufacturing &clerical workers. Light painting , light drawing & kinetic light painting are the 3 basic light techniques.

Here are some examples of us doing light painting by ourselves , we experimented with flash&without flash. Some came out good but some we're bad as it was out first attempt.
Gjon Mili:
Gjon Mili (November 28, 1904 – February 14, 1984) was an Albanian-American photographer best known for his work published in LIFE which he photographed artists such as Pablo Picasso .
Lesson 1:
In this lesson we was set an objective to try and show the five tallis habits (inquisitive , collaborative , persistent , disciplined and imaginative.) We had to think of our own way to show them - either draw or write the word. Writing the word was very challenging so most of us found it easier to express it in drawing. Mine and Olivia's word was 'persistent' so we thought to draw stairs as they are persistent and keep going until they've done there job. To write the word you have to do it backwards which is quite hard so drawing is quite easy depending on what you choose to draw.

Lesson 2:
Above I attempted to do the ping pong ball and bat myself it work but where the strobe was flashing in my face it was hard .On the right you can slightly see both the football & ping pong ball , this was just an experiment we did but it didn't go too well. We tried more than once but this one was the best outcome.

This was a different lesson on light painting but slightly differently. We used a strobe light and tried a sport theme , we used the ping pong ball & a football.
