The Camera Obscura.
On the right there is a video about a group of people making a camera obscura in a office. They tape black sheets to the windows so the room is light-safe (completely dark). Light travels in a straight line so the picture ends up upside down on the wall in the office.

This slideshow on the left is showing if you expose your picture too much or too less. So don't expose your picture too much or it will go wrong & if you don't expose it too much it will go wrong. This means you'll have to do it serval times to get it right.
This picture on the left is from the 18th century in a room sized camera obscura.

In this slideshow there is a selection of different pictures. Sir had to flip it over to the right way , then he had to go from negative to positive.
